About
Dave
A native of South Philadelphia, David has made a career out of creatively automating big data processes across a variety of industries. After several years in the corporate world, David started a consultancy business in 2005, SRE Solutions Inc., providing clients with website design, infrastructure implementation, and, most prominently, big data automation. A graduate of Overbrook High School, matriculating to Mansfield University of Pennsylvania and a graduate of Arcadia University, David has constantly strived for success in his career by using his life experiences as a constant motivation. His ingrained mantra, what he instills in his mentees, is “Life is short, decisions are long” - Everything you do creates a potential path in your life; the decisions you make matter not just today, but for your future. It is this mantra that has focused David professionally and personally and has allowed success to be possible in David’s life. It is this focus that drives David to pay it forward to youth, in any capacity possible; from teaching young girls to code as part of the Technovation Challenge to various speaking opportunities with young adults, as well as providing mentorship to undergrads at his alma mater.Outside of his professional and mentoring life, David is a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., an active alumnus of Arcadia University, holds leadership positions for several professional and educational organizations, and serves on multiple non-profit boards and advisory committees. Football and golf are passions but after over 30 years of playing, David has finally hung up his cleats. As he'd say, he's an "amateur golfer" now. Outside of sports, David loves to travel and cook as much as he is able to, given his schedule. David believes in the life principle that you should "enjoy life because life should be fun". It is this, along with his mantra, that drives David to be the best version of himself.Dave, as he is known by his friends, started Dave's Head podcast in the late spring of 2020, with the idea of providing a way to help people cope with and grow through the pandemic that affected so many in unprecedented ways. Not a stranger to broadcasting, Dave saw immediate positive feedback and a growing listener base as the season progressed. He fears no topic and presents real, factual, and raw conversations to his listeners; including his personal successes and failures. Dave's Head podcast looks to continue to dive into the toughest and hardest topics for seasons to come.
